The United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT) released a statement on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 about significant flaws in the code of two popular security products. Both Norton and Symantec products were reported to have a number of flaws in them that would allow an attacker to completely take over the computer. These flaws were found in products used on Mac as well as Windows.Symantec has reported that they have patches and updates available to fix these issues.
