VPN Security Risk

Last week, researchers from the Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute published a global vulnerability regarding virtual private network (VPN) applications storing authentication and/or session cookies insecurely in memory and/or log files.  We were made aware of this information today as part of a security advisory.  This vulnerability is affecting many popular VPNs and could allow someone to access company and client information that should have been secured by your VPN.
